What is Sandblast?
Matte and matte, regardless of the abrasive accelerator, the term sandblasting refers to the process of throwing sand through air pressure. This method uses compressed air as an energy source to clean and prepare the surface and directs a high-pressure abrasive stream to the desired surface. This surface can be car parts that are cleaned of dust, grease and oil, or it can be a rusty chain that is being rebuilt in a shipyard.
Sandblasting has been a proven method for over a hundred years. Sandblasting equipment uses abrasive sands that are made of silica and metal oxide in different sizes with precise control of the evolved accelerator flow. Other alternatives are also used due to the formation of dust from sand and gravel.
Despite changes in equipment and materials, sandblasting is still the most common method of sub-spraying. This method is especially suitable for soft and sensitive materials that are being prepared for final finishing. Sandblast is also a more economical system to buy with easier operation and offers excellent quality to the consumer.
